The challenge: to improve working conditions in hot weather
Albright, an electrical equipment storage and distribution company, is based near La Rochelle (Charente-Maritime), in a 460 m2 building, already double-skin insulated, and comprising offices and a workshop. Since 2017, Hervé Lefort, the manager, has noticed that temperatures were becoming increasingly stifling in his premises during heat peaks, with temperatures rising to 42°C.
The manager then considered the solution of cool roof paint for his flat roof, and turned to Covalba in 2021. Immediately, the teams noticed real improvements:
"From the day after applying the paint, a real impact was felt: before, we had to measure our efforts, we were sweating, now we're not sweating anymore.
We've saved 13°C on the temperature during peak heat periods! Aside from the quick and easy paint job, Covalba's support from start to finish is very much appreciated" H. Lefort, Managing Director, Albright France
